Day 1 - St Bees Head to Cleator - Saturday 5th April 2025

I have been finding this app quite tedious to use and so decided to give up on it and move everything to a new place. www.lianesoutham.co.uk Today I started in St Bees and got as far as Cleator. I had planned on going a little bit further, but my body was protesting against the heat in combination with carrying a heavy pack, so I decided to be sensible and stop for the day. I also was extremely kind to myself and checked into a hotel for the night, where I had a meal, which wasn't great but enough to hit the spot, and currently on my second pint. It will be my last, I am going for a soak in the bath and having an early night. I've seen some fantastic scenery today. St Bees and the coastline northwards is simply stunning.
